Downloading and Installing the ClientOnce you have created your account you should download and install the client. You must have installed this program on your computer in order to play Tibia. It is relatively small, since most of the actual game is handled by central computers usually referred to as "game servers" the client connects to via the internet.
Windows Client
a) DownloadOn the download page, please read the Tibia Service Agreement. If you agree to it, click on the corresponding button to continue. On the next page a disclaimer is displayed. Left hand you find a box for the requirements to play Tibia under Windows. Read it carefully and if you agree to it, click on the link to start the download. You will be asked to choose a directory into which you would like to download the installation file. Select a directory and confirm. Please note that the downloaded file requires approximately 20 MB of free disk space on your hard disk.
b) InstallationOnce the installation file has been downloaded Tibia is ready to be installed on your computer. Installing Tibia is easy. Simply start the installation file. The Tibia setup wizard will lead you through the installation process. Once more you will be asked to read and to confirm our service agreement. Also, you will be asked which directory you would like to install the Tibia folder to, what name you would like the Tibia folder to have, and whether or not you would like to have Tibia icons on the desktop and/or quickstart bar. Once you have confirmed your selections the installation will be carried out. The complete folder will initially take about 38 MB of disk space. Note, however, that the client will require some more space in your personal documents and settings folder which can increase up to 100 MB once you have explored the full world map of Tibia.
Linux Client

b) InstallationAfter downloading the appropriate tarball for your system, you need to decompress the tarball in a desired target folder. To do so use the following command:

A new folder named Tibia will be created which contains the client and its supporting files. We recommend to do this in your home directory or a subdirectory of it, since also the map files and your config file will be created there. To start Tibia you have to switch to the newly created Tibia folder. To do so, please start the binary called "Tibia". Please understand that the client will not be able to find all necessary files to run the game if you try to start the client from any other location. If you want to create a desktop launch icon, you should also adjust the launcher to incorporate the working path for the application. The complete folder will initially take about 40 MB of disk space. Note, however, that the client will require some more space in the ".tibia" folder which can increase up to 100 MB once you have explored the full world map of Tibia.Please note: If you have no hardware accelerated graphics driver, you can play Tibia on a Linux system by using the windows client with the help of "Wine". For details please see the installation guide.

The whole world is playing runescape
should people play runescape? I think all kids should be allowed to play runescape because it’s a good game that you can’t lose or win and because it has so many possibilities and also because you can help others, hunt, cook, craft, bake, cut wood, fish, fight, mine, smelt, teleport, make fires, and do magic and all those are optional you can even meet friends. And you can earn money, get armor, level up, and sell items.
In my opinion there is no other game like runescape, not very many games have so many possibility sometimes there are millions and millions of people logged in to runescape. And may I mention that unlike other games there are no cheats for this wonder full game. And another difference from other games almost anyone is wealthy with good armor and most people are happy and are very friendly. In a way its educational because as you mine you may learn some real names for metals and ores like copper tin coal iron steel and others or you may learn about different kinds of woods like willow I also like the other non real things like exploring in a volcano fighting ghosts and vampires and mining pure gold steel iron and other metals. From my view nothing is bad about this game. The closest to a cheat you can get with runescape is tips, how to get money fast, how to get oracle armor and other stuff like that. It’s also nice to know that if you get lost you can ask someone and find out exactly where you are

First StepsMoving Your CharacterYou will start your adventure on a small island. A tutorial hint is displayed explaining how to move your character. Simply left-click on the spot in the game window you want your character to go to or use the arrow keys. Walk around for a little while and a second tutorial hint will appear explaining how to move your character by left-clicking on a mark on your automap. Some NPCs will mark important points on your automap if you ask them to. However, you can also add own marks to the automap, e.g. to remember the entrance to your favourite dungeon, to find a special NPC or to mark the way to your own house.Now walk up the nearby ramp. Context MenuOn your way to Santiago, right after crossing the little bridge, you pass a sign. Right-click on it and a context menu will open up where you can read "Look" or "Use". Depending on the characteristics of an item, the context menu will vary, e.g. you can "Open" boxes, or "Rotate" a chair.A context menu will also open up if you click on a character or on an NPC. Talking to InhabitantsBut then, surely you would not want to attack a peaceful guy like Santiago! He is a friendly man who enjoys helping newcomers to make their first steps in Tibia. You should talk to him by entering hi or hello and hitting the enter key. An NPC channel will open up in which Santiago will talk to you. NPCs in Tibia react to keywords. So simply answer his questions or use the dark blue marked words to continue the conversation.
QuestsSantiago will sent you on your very first quest. Quests are jobs or tasks that inhabitants of Tibia have for you. Of course, Santiago will send you on a very easy and basic quest. If your character gets stronger, also the quests will be more difficult and challenging.You should really take the time to talk to the inhabitants of Tibia. You will learn a lot about the fascinating world you are playing in that way. Simply greet them and ask them about general things such as their job or their name. With a bit of luck, they will also have some job for you - simply ask them for a mission or a quest. If you complete their quest, they will reward you with useful items or with valuable information.
Your First KillSantiago has a cockroach plague in his cellar. He would really appreciate if you can help him to fight those nasty creatures. To fight a cockroach, right-click on it and select "Attack". A well-aimed blow with your club should be enough to send it to its ancestors.Cockroaches are nasty, but harmless. Once you have passed the tutorial and are on your own in Rookgaard, you will find out that most creatures are aggressive and attack you on sight. Easy monsters to start with are rats. The sewers of Rookgaard are infested with rats. Be careful if you are going to fight them. The Tibian rat is a nasty little critter that can inflict painful wounds with its sharp teeth. Don't be afraid, though - a few hits with your club will end its life quickly.
Looting MonstersOnce you have killed a cockroach, you should right-click on its corpse and select "Open". With a bit of luck you will find a cockroach leg in it. To take items left-click on them and drag them onto the bag in your inventory. To check the contents of your bag right-click on it and select "Open".Please note if more than one character obtained experience points for killing a creature, only the one that made the most damage will be able to loot in the first 10 seconds after the kill. The player Hall Of Shame published a list of banished cheaters from the top 300 on each and every world. Not only is this an impressive amount of data, the statistics and the conclusions that may be drawn from it are interesting.
According to this calculation, 34.6% of cheaters play German worlds. 65.4% play American worlds. 37.6% of the Non-PvP cheaters play German worlds, thus 62.4% play an American world. 17% of the banished cheaters play on a Non-PvP world, and 83% play either PvP or PvP-Enforced. There are only 14 Non-PvP servers. If there were as many Non-PvP servers as there would be PvP servers, 46.3% of the cheaters would play Non-PvP and 53.7% would play PvP. In proportion, the amount of cheaters on PvP and Non-PvP on german worlds is about equal. On US servers, in proportion, the amount of cheaters on Non-PvP is 45% versus 55% on PvP. On PvP Enforced worlds cheating is 15% more likely than on any other world type (37% Inferna, 63% Dolera).

Grizzly Adams' Tasks Adjusted for High Level Chara
ith today's server save, the balancing of Grizzly Adams' hunting tasks, also known as "Killing in the name of" tasks, has been improved. Unlike low- and mid-level characters, high-levels were required to spend an overly amount of time, money and resources in order to climb the ranks of the Paw and Fur Society. Now,tibia gold high-levels move up the ranks more quickly and should be able to keep up with low- and mid-level characters more easily. This adjustment was originally proposed by and discussed with players in one of our latest poll threads.
That is how the rank system worked so far:By completing a task, your character earned 1 point. After having earned 50 points you were awarded the highest rank "Elite Hunter". It did not matter if you
cheap tibia goldplayed a low-, mid- or high-level character. Everyone had to do the same amount of tasks in order to climb the ranks.
That is how we adjusted the system:High-level characters now earn 3 points for completing a high-level task, and an additional point for the boss fight. So you can earn up to 4 points in total for each task you successfully complete. That means high-level characters can now reach the highest rank "Elite Hunter" by doing at least 13 tasks.
Please note that only the four existing high-level tasks given by Grizzly Adams have been adjusted. Characters up to level 89 will not experience any changes at all. Furthermore, the adjustments mentioned above only affect tasks which were or will be completed after today's server save. You will not receive any additional points for the tasks you have already completed in the past.
Apart from these changes, several bug fixes have been made: A dead end was discovered in the scatterbrained sorcerer quest and finally removed. Furthermore, it is not possible any longer to trap characters on roofs by using parcels
